Verdict

This is a shocker but looks an ideal opportunity for THATS NICE to open his account over hurdles despite conceding plenty of weight. Mick Hourigan's charge won a Roscommon bumper in May and though not showing a great deal in his first two starts over hurdles he did better at Listowel in September and that should be good enough. South Circle will be receiving 22lb including her rider's claim and the winning point-to-pointer looks the main threat after a reasonable run in a Wexford bumper last month. It's difficult to envisage any of the remaining trio winning a race on what they have shown so far.
