        Verdict

        The opening fixture of Meydan's new season is mainly for locals with all races on the Dirt surface. Brabbham is comfortably the top internationally rated entry here having earned his mark with placed efforts on Dirt at Belmont and Saratoga. However, he's been absent since December 2013 and is likely to need this. Prepared is next best in and with his stable having opened with a winner at Jebel Ali on Friday he'll probably be fit enough, a remark that also applies to Just A Penny. Doug Watson was in double-winning form at Jebel Ali's opening fixture and his former Irish-trained charge ran his best race on Polytrack at Dundalk. Gwydir made his debut on Friday and did well to finish runner-up after missing the break. That was over 5f so today's longer trip is certain to be in his favour. Chris Hayes made an excellent to his stint in the UAE with a double on Friday so his mount Intense Effort is worth a look but it's Royston Ffrench who can take this with SKY JOCKEY, who looked a certain future winner when placed twice on Dirt earlier this year.
