There's no disguising the mediocrity of this race but Coiste Bodhar is sure to figure on many shortlists by virtue of winning a race at Chepstow in soft ground. Graham Gibbons appears a positive booking on Street Boss and the gelding has been consistent in similarly modest races, but we'll take MARLISMAMMA to land the spoils. The filly won a handicap at Ayr off a higher mark last term and though she's been disappointing so far this season, she looks well treated at the weights now. Henke is on a losing run but Nigel Tinkler's gelding has been dropped significantly down the weights as a consequence. Marjorie Fife takes two darts at the prize with Red Tide making a debut for her after leaving Alan McCabe, while Sherry For Nanny attempts to build upon her fourth in a very moderate event at Catterick.
