Verdict

Snap may be capable of taking the finale with Cottingham and Commando Scott the others for the shortlist. The selection is form a yard in good form and has run three respectable races to date. He is still progressing and might now be ready to take his turn against some moderate rivals. Cottingham won a maiden on the AW at Southwell last time so is entitled to respect, but he has more on his plate here. Commando Scott could therefore provide a bigger threat to our selection as he ran well when second to Kingsmaite in a slightly better race than this at Redcar. His stable is in good form and he remains on a handy mark so could run our selection close. Of the remainder, Tsarbuck has been running well but is upped in class, and we are happy to stick with Snap who looks the one they all have to beat.
