Verdict

ROYAL SWAIN is the call with Act Of Kalanisi and Destinys Dream on the shortlist. Alan Swinbank found a very poor maiden for him to win at this course last time out but this horse has been spoken of in the same tones as Turbo Linn so having taken a similar route, it will be interesting to see if he can live up to that level of ability. Act Of Kalanisi is returning first time out. He is a gritty performer and is sure to run his race. Destinys Dream is a consistent enough sort and appreciates fast ground. He seems to get on well with Kelly Harrison. Daaweitza has been a little below par on the fibresand at Southwell though has plenty of solid form on turf. Kames Park ran creditably in a York handicap earlier in the month. If in a similar vein of form, he has to go close. Royal Swain is pitched in against strong opposition today and we will see if he is able to sink or swim.
