GINGER MAX (NAP) is drawn on the outside but it’s difficult to get away from the penalised top weight, who has clearly strengthened up over the winter and is on a hat-trick after cosy wins at Yarmouth and Redcar. Elixsoft is on a long losing run but has place claims on these terms if blinkers have the desired effect while Amelia R showed a glimpse of her old form at Newcastle in March. Dawn Breaking won twice over a mile last year while Mea Culpa may do better this season but Elusif’s Turf form leaves much to be desired.
