Paris Bell, Crimson Silk and Golden Asha are the three for the shortlist in this competitive handicap, and Paris bell is nominated to make it a popular local success. Dual winner Crimson Silk shaped well on his seasonal re-appearance behind Trinculo, and that one franked the form when taking a top handicap at York on Thursday. With similar ground conditions prevailing here, and well drawn against the stands rail, he can go close despite top weight. A three time winner last season, Golden Asha finished just behind Crimson Silk at Beverley, and has run well twice since. She can handle give in the ground, and Kerrin McEvoy looks an eye-catching jockey booking. She looks set to go well but may find one or two too good. Paris Bell was a close third to stablemate Dazzling Bay at Ripon having won at Redcar before that. He handles a soft surface, winning on soft ground at Ripon a year ago, and the stable is in decent form. He looks well treated and well drawn and Paris Bell gets the nod.
