Verdict

This is a better race than the ones won by Bahamian C at Musselburgh and Hamilton, though George Chaloner's claim will help with a recent weight rise. However, he's never raced on a soft surface before and Ellaal didn't look very happy on the ground last time. Beverley second Rocket Ronnie and the consistent Celtic Sixpence would also have preferred faster going while Mac's Superstar has shown his nest form so far on the Polytrack. HAKUNA MATATA is still 4lb higher than when scoring at Newcastle in April but conditions are in his favour again and there is no reason why he won't go close if breaking smartly from the one stall with Sandra's Diamond preferred to Instant Attraction of the others.
