In depth

Verdict

Belle Et Bete skated up when put over an extra furlong at Down Royal last time, beating debutante Enter The Priory by more than eight lengths. But that form was undermined was the runner-up was only fourth at Sligo earlier this month and a couple of the newcomers in this catch the eye. Spiritual Man is one but Jim Bolger's Equiano filly RAPID EYE makes more appeal as she's a half-sister to a winning miler and is likely to know what's required. Duca Valentinois showed promise in a Naas maiden two weeks ago and is likely to have benefited from the outing.
