Verdict

Able Charlie, Taras Treasure, and Komreyev Star look the three to concentrate on in a competitive opener and the confident vote goes to Able Charlie. The selection was a good second on his debut behind Cammies Future and although he was slightly disappointing last time that was on rain softened ground. This faster surface will suit and he will be hard to beat. Taras Treasure rates the main danger on her best placed form but she has had plenty of chances in similar contests without taking one and she is more exposed than most so for that reason she is opposed. Komreyev Star is a half brother to ten furlong winner Mr Cospector and will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish so he is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Mossmann Gorge showed a modicum of ability and is sure to have learnt from there experience but for the winner we return to Able Charlie.
