Verdict

Edward Elgar should make a three-year-old but may need a run or two to get him to concert pitch. Tim Easterby runs three, including Southwell second Roomie, but none of the trio make much appeal and Red Pike and Royal Connoisseur disappointed on occasion last season though probably have the best overall form. CAVALLO BELLA is the only one of these with no racecourse experience but she shouldn't be short of pace and her dam won on good to soft going. She may well be good enough to make a winning start as White Rose Runner's third at Redcar last week was nothing special.
