Verdict

Sausalito Sunrise was still beaten 40 lengths when sixth in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham but did win at Chepstow and Haydock in December and this represents a drop in class. Providing he hasn't had enough for the season, Philip Hobbs' gelding should be thereabouts but is being asked to concede 11lb to ASHES HOUSE taking into account Patrick Corbett's claim. The latter was only beaten a neck by Knockanrawley on his first try over this trip at Ffos Las and may represent more value. Sir Mangan was well beaten over track and trip last time but still looks the pick of the remainder as Glowinginthedark is proving hard to place.
