A winner at Chester, Kryptos went close to defying a 6lb rise in the weights when second at Salisbury. But he’s upped in class for this and MOUNTAIN ANGEL gets another chance. Roger Varian’s colt was beaten only a neck in this grade at Yarmouth recently and can race off the same mark today. Fayez won at Wolverhampton in between a couple of modest efforts while Helovaplan has looked high enough in the weights since landing a double and Andok has yet to improve on last year’s winning form.
