In depth

Verdict

Fajjaj has entries in a couple of valuable sales races later this autumn. He cost 140,000 guineas as a yearling so will be expected to win races and looks the pick of the newcomers ahead of Roundhead, who was a relatively cheap purchase but is a half-brother to couple of 6f winners and looks the pick of Richard Hannon’s pair on jockey bookings ahead of the twice-raced Robinson Crusoe. SOLDIERS BAY blew the start on debut at Newbury but stayed on nicely once the penny dropped and can build on that experience today.
