White Willow is unproven on anything other than artificial surfaces but in fairness to Richard Fahey his horses have tended to improve for their first run of the campaign. SHAKE A LEG was much higher rated on the Flat in Ireland and, having had an abortive spell hurdling, this appears to be his game. Iain Jardine has yet to rejuvenate Pearl Warrior and another wind surgery has taken place since we last saw the gelding. The Dancing Poet has won previously at Thirsk and this is a track where course specialists tend to do well while Myboymax represents a yard that are enjoying a fair amount of success in lower tiers and the four-year-old has been hitting the crossbar with regularity.
