Verdict

Morty is in danger of being labelled a professional bridesmaid given he was worried out of matters last Sunday at Hamilton Park. Mick Appleby’s skill with horses from other yards is well known and VAL DE TRAVERS has shaped encouragingly since joining the stable. Arnold has gone close off similar marks and is very much respected. Paul Midgley’s stable have been exceptionally quiet so far, but this is not a strong race and Elzaal has recent runs under his belt where others have not had the luxury. Koropick is tried without the visor that has accompanied his last five visits to the races.
