In depth

Verdict

Colin Tizzard’s stable is struggling for winners at present so we’ll put a line through Sizing Granite and Valhalla, who were both pulled up last time. Alcock And Brown hasn’t run since September and may be warming up for another summer campaign while Cigarisi’s win at Plumpton last month hasn’t been franked. Baratineur has been lightly campaigned but the drying ground won’t be in his favour. Red Tornado rattled up a five-timer last spring and summer, including a Listed race at Market Rasen. He had a pipe-opener on the all-weather recently so may be the danger to AMOUR DE NUIT (NAP). The latter was challenging Wishfull Dreaming here 10 days ago when the latter fell and he would probably have won in any case. Progressive, he is fancied to defy his 7lb penalty.
