In depth

Verdict

Modest fare and probably a good opportunity for WALTER ONEEIGHTONE to follow up last month's comfortable victory at Bangor, despite a 7lb rise in the weights. Panis Angelicus beat the disappointing On Alberts Head at Newton Abbot in September and the pair meet on the same terms. Red Admirable has been left on the same mark as when runner-up at Uttoxeter while Midnight Magic might appreciate this drop in grade. The booking of the champion for Mountmellick Girl could be significant as she has shown a little improvement in her last two starts.
