In depth

Verdict

Savant Bleu was only beaten half-a-length on his chasing bow at Ludlow and would have been placed at Bangor next time had he not fallen at the last. Kim Bailey's charge must go on the short-list in this but we'll take a chance on the fitness of CAMINERO. Jamie Snowden's five-year-old was just about the equal of Savant Bleu over hurdles and has already won over fences between the flags. Shockingtimes is another winning pointer who should be suited by the switch to fences and he could be best of the rest, though Jayandbee finished a long way in front of Arctic Watch over hurdles here on his reappearance.
