It was difficult to fault the consistency of Five Star Wilsham over hurdles and it would be no surprise to see Jeremy Scott's seven-year-old go close on his fencing bow, despite returning from his summer break. But a narrow vote goes to SYBARITE, who is less exposed and kept good company in his first season over timber, ending the campaign with a run in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at The Festival. He won on his racecourse debut so goes well fresh. I've Been Framed has lost his way a little so is best watched today, while it will be a surprise if Total Victory ends a 17-race winless run over fences here.
