Verdict

Petito has been knocking on the door in similar company but still looks a shade high in the weights. Bay Central ran well off this mark at Newton Abbot in June but hasn't been seen since, while Sablazo has failed to build on his second at Worcester in the same month. Pumboo won at Uttoxeter last month and was just foiled in a follow-up bid at Sedgefield. But the handicapper has raised him a further 6lb since so we'll give another chance to DANEVA, who had every chance at this distance at Exeter nine days ago and could be suited by today's drop in distance.
