Joe Lively, Double Deputy and Bubbs look the main protagonists in division one of the novices' hurdle and the vote is given to Joe Lively. The selection won well last time out when defeating Letvitski. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he looks sure to improve for the step up in trip and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Double Deputy rates the main danger on his latest third behind Ruby Dante. However he is far from straightforward when he comes off the bridle and he looks opposeable on that basis. Bubbs is another last time out winner that could go well as he beat Dark Parade last time out. However on official ratings he has plenty to find with the selection and he is taken on with this in mind. Kilrogan was second behind Twenty Degrees last time but this looks tougher, while Scholar King may appreciate the drop in trip and is worth a cautionary look in the market, but for the winner we return to Joe Lively who is taken to win this before going on to better things.
