Verdict

Thegaygardener looked useful when obliging at Uttoxeter last year but the handicapper has made life difficult and the five-year-old drops in grade in an attempt to add to that sole success. THIRD HALF has struggled to live up to the feats of half-brother, Brown Panther, but if the tonguestrap can work on its first application, the Worcester winner looks very much the one to beat. Quadriller has questions to answer after a modest run at Worcester while Neil King saddles two entries including Huntingdon winner, Wom. Persian Herald will make a first foray into plating company though he is still a maiden after 15 previous starts. The Bay Bandit posted a 25/1 shock over course and distance earlier in the season though the form of that race has not worked out.
