Verdict

Sagredo is likely to be popular having shaped well for the application of headgear but he isn't a frequent winner and we feel that SONOFAGUN can get the better of him. Connections have had to be patient though Ian Williams is adept at gleaning improvement from horses that have campaigned elsewhere, and the seven-year-old won in taking fashion at Southwell last week. Chilworth Screamer won off a mark of 94 at Wincanton and was far from disgraced in a follow-up bid at Aintree three days later. Scenic Route has found the winning habit in point-to-points and was able to follow up victory in an Andersover maiden with a wide margin win at Woodland Pytchley. City Press disappointed at Worcester and the assessor has returned him to the mark he held when obliging over course and distance in June.
