Verdict

Square Mile gets the confident vote here with Sultan Fontenaille and Lawyer Des Ormeaux rating the main dangers. The selection has won both his starts this season in good style, notably when beating Killard Point with plenty in hand last time out. Granted he is rising in the weights but he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to win this before going on to better things. Sultan Fontenaille rates the main danger as he was second behind Lawyer Des Ormeaux last time but he is weighted to gain his revenge on that rival here and he should be watched in the market. Lawyer Des Ormeaux is sure to have his supporters as he won well last time but he looks vulnerable under his penalty in this more competitive affair. Craven won well when last seen when defeating Mister Tibus but he may need the run after an 175-day absence. Of the others, Ballybeg Glen is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but his overall profile leaves him with plenty to find and for the winner we return to the progressive Square Mile.
