Verdict

CORK ALL STAR, a smart if luckless performer over hurdles in Ireland, has really thrived since switching to the point-to-point field, winning twice between the flags before landing a hunter chase at Huntingdon in a canter. He should improve further and may have too much class for his rivals here. Openditch has a decent record under Rules and ran good yardstick Distant Thunder to two lengths at Ideford Arch last month. The nine-year-old may be best of the rest ahead of all-the-way Larkhill winner May Be Possible and veteran Moscow Court.
