In depth

Verdict

BEYOND looks capable of defying a penalty in this company and can confine Glen Lass to a minor role at best again with the biggest threat possibly likely to come from Destiny's Dancer. There are obviously a number of newcomers for whom market support would be of obvious interest but Beyond sets a decent standard for them to aim at following his wide margin win at Bangor where Glen Lass and Gulf Punch followed him home. The runner-up is entitled to finish closer with Beyond now saddled with a penalty but he won with any amount in hand and should be hard to beat. Destiny's Dancer is one of two runners representing Ben Haslam and she has the benefit of a run under her belt at Market Rasen where she may well have made the frame but for a blunder at the last. She's entitled to improve for that initial experience and does receive plenty of weight but there's no need to look beyond Beyond.
