Verdict

Another run of the mill handicap and Storm Of Applause is our choice with Liverpool Echo and Neutrino the alternatives. Storm Of Applause has been a model of consistency throughout the season and should be thereabouts although he may be vulnerable should the unlikely happen that a well handicapped or improving sort emerges. Liverpool Echo is hanicapped to hit the mark again as a result of being out of form for the best part of a year. A winner off 112 over the course twelve months ago, he races here off 103 which is interesting. His recent form though is a major worry though while Neutrino has switched stables since scoring at Wetherby. The 11lb he recieved was fully warrented judging by the manner of his victory but the fact previous connections opted to sell him following that success is not encouraging in the slightest. Give Me Love is another racing off a mark well below his best but his best form appears to be when there is plenty 'dig' in the ground. Kew Jumper is another to consider. He has some good form in the book and the marker will tell the story of his chances. In a wide open contest Storm Of Applause is selected by us.
