In depth

Verdict

A trappy maiden gets proceedings underway and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Silent Master, Bonne and Clifton Four and the narrow vote is given to Silent Master. The selection hails from the in-form Mark Johnston yard was a good second behind Orientalist Art last time out is proven on the surface and despite his wide draw he is given one last chance to get his head in front. Clifton Four rates the main danger as she was a fair sixth in a better race behind Albaraari when last seen she looks sure to improve for the step up in trip and with her yard liking a tilt at the ring she should be watched in the market. Bonne is a well bred filly by Namid and hails from a yard that can ready a newcommers so she is another that could go well. Monashee Rock is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he has had plenty of chances while Ambrix is another that has shown promise in the past but he will have a handicap mark after this run and that is where his future may lie but for the winner we are happy to return to Silent Master.
