Verdict

Rumbury Grey's winning run came to an end behind Coombe Hill at Cheltenham and it's difficult to see him reversing the form here. David Easterby has sent Bangor winner Classinaglass down from Yorkshire and the five-year-old should go well while Folkestone runner-up Start Royal is worth a try over this longer trip. Recent points winner Findlay's Find and Kirkleigh, who beat Lucette Annie and Books Review on soft ground at Exeter last month, also enter the equation but it must be worth taking a chance on the fitness of MONKERTY TUNKERTY, who was hugely impressive when beating Bradley by 11 lengths at Warwick in January. He looked an out-and-out stayer that day and the runner-up has boosted the form since.
