Verdict

Veteran Fairwood Present is holding his form well but was beaten by Ryeman in this race in 2010 and is worse off at the weights now. The latter lacks consistency and was only seventh last year when OVERLUT finished seven lengths ahead. The winner in 2009, Samantha Jennings' 10-year-old has been in good form between the flags lately and can return to former glories. Cheltenham second Swallows Delight must have some sort of chance as well while a market move for Alan Hill's What's Up Doc would be interesting but the others probably have a bit to find.
