In depth

Verdict

The newcomer Sleeper Queen looks to have a tough task while Looktothelight edges it at the weights over Itsallaboutluck but the latter has form on the surface with a second over 7f here in November. Without a win for Dermot Weld in Ireland, Proxy debuts for Mick Appleby today but DUNE OF PILAT has the much stronger form back over the Irish Sea. A first runner at this venue for Joseph O’Brien’s yard, the colt won a maiden at Dundalk last month in good style and the Derby entry will take all the beating if acting on the surface.
