In depth

Verdict

CRAZY SPIN bids for a course and distance hat-trick raised a further 4lb and is taken to confirm earlier running with Palazzo. The latter went on to score here before going close again at Newcastle and is preferred to Luscifer, who has a shout on last week’s second at Wolverhampton but has yet to race on the Fibresand or over this far. Fivehundredmiles is another debuting on the surface on only his second outing for new connections while the unexposed Gracie's Girl may prove best of the three Mick Appleby runners.
