In depth

Verdict

Sister Etienne gets the vote over New York Oscar, with Fly Time and O'Dwyer others to consider. Sister Ettienne's only success to date came in a Beverley nursery back in September, but since then she has not managed to progress, despite a drop down in grade. However, David Barrons's filly was a promising second to Diminuto on her first try on the Fibresand recently and should go close on that form. She gets weight from New York Oscar who opened his account in a poor maiden here just four days ago, and although he is likely to improve in time, is worth opposing. Of the remainder, Fly Time has shown a modicum of ability, and ex-Irish O'Dwyer will be suited by the drop back in trip after just failing to make all at Lingfield last time. For the winner we return to Sister Etienne.
