Verdict

The newcomers Colorus and Collateral Damage will not have to be too special to win this, however we will take a chance with Papaspyros. John Quinn's colt has contested a couple of decent maidens and although running green has shown plenty of ability. He can put his experience to good use here and looks the safest option. Richard Fahey's Colorus is a son of Night Shift out of a Warning mare. The trip should be fine and if the market speaks in his favour take note. Collateral Damage is a 30,000 guineas son of Orpen. You would expect this one to need a little further, but if fit for his debut he could be involved in the finish. Stolen Glance is another debutante to keep on the right side, but on this occasion we will side with experience and select Papaspyros.
