In depth

Verdict

Appach, Very Very Noble and Another Joker are three against the field in another trappy affair and the tentative nomination is given to Appach. The selection was going well until falling in a race won by Damarisco last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here and under conditions that suit he looks the value bet in an open affair. Very Very Noble rates the main danger on his latest second behind Burwood Breeze but all his best form is on a softer surface and he looks opposable on that basis. Another Joker is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind From Wrags To Riches but he gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip last time out. Quazar is thrown in on his best form but he has shown very little of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Flight Command is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but for the winner we return to the progressive Appach.
