        Verdict

        There is sure to be plenty of pace on here, which is expected to suit Xpres Digital, who is selected ahead of the ultra-game Feat Of Romance and the lightly raced Penel. The latter has bit more scope than many of the rest and does not have too much to find to get involved in the shake-up today. Having only raced twelve times since March 2003, the four-year-old has obviously not been the easiest sprinter to train. However, his victory over course and distance last December was enough to persuade Paul Blockley that he has more to offer and he could easily make the frame today. Feast Of Romance can never be ruled out in a contest of this nature, as he has consistently delivered at this level over the years. However, he has a little find with Xpres Digital on these terms and, despite the likelihood of a tight finish ensuing, Roy Bowring's charge is given the mantle of selection this afternoon.
