Not too many of these are in form at present so it could pay to side with recent scorer Harrys House, Attorney and Gilded Cove are also expected to run well. The selection put in a much improved performance to beat Brut on the soft at Ayr last time. He is making his Southwell debut, but if he handles the surface he should be there or thereabouts. Attorney has been a great servant to his current yard and hit winning form at Goodwood recently. He loves it round here and although he is now weighted up to his best he should still be involved in the finish. Gilded Cove disappointed a little at Wolverhampton last time but is normally very consistent in this type of company and if running his normal race he should have a say in the outcome. The Leather Wedge and Clipper Hoy can also be given a squeak in a wide open affair, but Harrys House looks on the upgrade and this one carries our hopes.
