Weather Babe was engaged in the 4.00 at Folkestone yesterday and was probably entered here as a precaution though she would have an obvious chance if taking her place. BIT OF A MADAM was always travelling very nicely on her debut over 1m5f at Exeter but was run out of it by Stock Hill Fair. This longer trip should be more to her liking and she gets the nod to go one better. Wychwoods Dancer has performed with credit on both starts and a strong gallop should ensure another big effort but Ginger Fizz didn't appear at home on ground with some give at Wetherby. Petrarchick was very disappointing when favourite at Ludlow but newcomer Oaklands Elise is one to keep an eye on as she's from a prolific winning family on her dam's side.
