In depth

Verdict

TACITUS (NAP) was Lady Cecil's first-ever runner on the Fibresand over course and distance last week and took to the surface like a duck to water. He'd been generally progressive previously and should be capable of defying his penalty in this similar grade. Sellingallthetime is still 4lb higher than his last winning mark and was a bit disappointing when beaten in an apprentices' race here 12 days ago but Serenity Now won nicely in lesser company here last week, though is 2lb out of the handicap in this. Gabrial The Duke is back in the right grade and looks best of the rest as Chevalgris makes his all-weather debut and miler General Tufto does most of his winning at a lower level.
