Verdict

The trip could be the undoing of a few of these so a chance is taken with Game Guru, who goes well at this course and could represent more value than the top weight Platinum Charmer and Caspian Dusk, who are respected but can be unreliable characters to side with. The grade of the race already informs us of that statement though and stakes should be adjusted accordingly when the market begins to warm up in earnest. However, Game Guru has at least gone well over course and distance and, considering his trainer's record in races of this nature, he looks to have been placed to do himself justice once more.
