Verdict

Every time we get a Barney Curly runner in this type of event we have to make it the selection, with the proviso that it is well supported and so Lillebror is the choice. Others to note here are Ego Trip and Galantos. Lillebror hasn¿t raced since last May when well behind Feed The Meter. No doubt he doesn¿t take much racing but he has plenty of ability and is easily capable of landing a race of this nature. Ego Trip looked to be running back into form last time when finishing a close up third behind York Cliff at Ayr and it will be hard to keep this one out of the frame. Gary Moore¿s charge Galantos has won two out of his last three races on the flat and could still be just ahead of the handicapper. Romil Star and Mungo Jerry are also worthy of a mention, but we have to side with Lillebror, just in case the money is down.
