In depth

Verdict

Bold Rose and Imaginary Diva have won over course and distance before but it is with MAY MARTIN we side in this five furlong handicap. The selection is very much unexposed and Rae Guest's filly promises to start off in handicap company on a very workable mark. Bold Rose has placed a few times over at this track and continues to slip down the weights. The three-year-old seems to perform best over five furlongs and should be the major threat to our selection. Imaginary Diva is another filly who has posted a good effort at the course. The filly isn't very big but she is a consistent sort who turned in an improved effort down in trip on her fibresand debut, and she should continue to give a good account. Jubilee Juggins was beaten favourite last time out but the colt hasn't raced since November so he may be forgiven for needing the run. Not too many appear to hold big chances here, so for the winner we look to May Martin.
