In depth

Formwatch

Palacegate Touch Prolific old campaigner who has been in cracking form this winter; comes from behind and needs the race to go his way; yet to win at today's track but cannot be discounted.

Calko Has good form on the Fibresand and must be a live contender today; discount his last run on the turf as he is clearly better on this type of surface.

Distinctive Dream (IRE) Consistent performer who appreciates todays' course and distance; however, he has not won for over a year.

Killarney Jazz Has been in good form at Lingfield and prefers today's surface; one for the short-list.

Kingchip Boy Prolific winner who seems to have gone the wrong way; in poor form this winter and remains best watched.

San Michel (IRE) Has not won for some time and most recently was pulled up over hurdles; difficult to enthuse about.

Sounds Lucky Capable sprinter for Nick Littmoden; unlikely to appreciate today's step up in trip.

Aubrieta (USA) Good performer on all three all-weather tracks; closely weighted with Palacegate Touch on last run and sure to run another good race.

Desilu Has not been seen since September 1999; looks to have no hope here.

Miss Skicap Out of form and difficult to think she will improve today.

Oare Kite Is in good form and should appreciate today's trip; however, this race may be too strong for him.

Patsy Culsyth Yet to win on the all-weather but not out of it at her best; may not be up to winning this but may run into a place.

Super Sonic Sonia (IRE) Returns from a lengthy absence and it would be a huge surprise if she were to win today.

Hambleton Highlite (IRE) Has not been disgraced this winter but faces a difficult task against his older rivals.

Mai Tai (IRE) Close up second here yesterday over a mile and will not be inconvenienced by today's drop in trip; good chance again today.
