Verdict

BIG SHOES won at Wolverhampton last month with Frivolous Prince, Footlight and Never Say all behind and has obvious claims on that form. But he's not the most confident of selections given trainer Charles Hills has not had a three-year-old winner here in the last 14 attempts. Ada Misobel was runner-up here in November though still beaten six lengths and Boom Junior was also well beaten when third over track and trip in January. Pursuit Of Time makes his Fibresand debut and may finish closer now handicapping.
