Verdict

CROSSE FIRE gets another chance in a tight handicap. Scott Dixon's charge has won four times over track and trip in the past year and beat Sir Billy Wright and Showtime Star on the last of those occasions. Sir Billy Wright has since ran well again over 6f here and also has strong claims but Sleepy Blue Ocean and Fine 'n Dandy were both behind the selection last time. Desert Command wins in his turn which may not be far away given he is back on a winning mark and was placed here in January when ahead of the selection.
