    Verdict

Tony McCoy takes the ride on Nicky Henderson's well-bred newcomer Rustic Road, and he will be a popular choice, but Alan Swinbank's ROSES has the form in the book and is taken to complete a four timer, with Fine Call another to note. The last named ran promisingly on debut at Bangor, and normal improvement can see him reach the frame. A daughter of Presenting, and a grand daughter of the classy staying mare Dalkey Sound, Rustic Road may need further than this trip to be seen to best effect. The booking of McCoy looks significant and market confidence should be heeded with the stable boasting a fifty per cent strike rate at the moment. Roses won with authority here last time, and although carrying a stone penalty for those four wins, she has the speed and class to see off her rivals. Roses can bloom once again over this course and distance.
