In depth

Verdict

Dream In Blue comes out best at the weights but he was readily brushed aside last time and a better bet might be RESPLENDENT ACE. Paul Howling's charge beat a reliable yardstick with a little up his sleeve last time and, as that was over course and distance, he's no stamina concerns and can go in again under his capable pilot. Contrastingly, Dream In Blue appears a better horse at 1m4f and even at that trip couldn't score last time. He's a consistent enough animal and remains capable of better, but unless they go a crawl his apparent lack of stamina may result in defeat. Three Boars has won here but his recent efforts don't inspire confidence and he's enough on his plate at the weights, Lean Burn has a similarly stiff task and never featured last time whilst Super Ross still has it all to prove with regards his wellbeing. This should develop into a match and it's one we confidently expect Resplendent Ace to win.
