Stuart Kittow has his runners in good form of late and Miss Nightshade should go very well, though she may have to give best to REAL TREASURE, who is potentially open to more improvement. The Kim Bailey-trained selection ran with credit when making the frame in a couple of bumpers before scoring on her debut over hurdles in maiden company. Although not a red-hot race that was still a very good effort in the context of this contest and it was also here, so there is invaluable course form to her name. With the promise of more to come she gets the nod. Miss Nightshade won a Newton Abbot bumper last spring, but she has had a few jumping issues since switching to timber. Even so, she got it right at Bangor last time for a comfortable win and a clear round here makes her very dangerous. Manele Bay has been brought along patiently and has presumably had some problems. Her two bumper runs have shown promise and she could go well on this, her introduction to hurdling. Both Ease And Grace and Time To Think would be interesting if supported, though preference is for Real Treasure.
