Katie Gale has won seven times around here, including over the trip, but she was left a long way behind APHAEA over 1m6f here last week when the latter, returning from the point-to-point field, gained a spectacular 10-length victory in an apprentices' race for which she's unpenalised. Mick Easterby's filly won over a mile at Wolverhampton last summer so is clearly versatile and is difficult to oppose. High Command finished runner-up last week and isn't much better off while the lightly-raced Chetwynd Abbey, who showed little in three minor races in the autumn, makes her handicap debut. Colwood's last run here resulted in a victory over 2m2f and he's been performing in better company so looks the main threat with his rider's claim a plus.
